Have you ever wanted to trim out a bunch of contours and then make a surface from the remaining contours? This command will help out tremendously for that!

This option does not exist in C3D 2024 😡
The XREF Plug in only seems to be compatible up to Civil 3D 2024

Is there a way to do this with pressure network?
Pressure networks have pretty much always had the ability to swap multiple parts. Select a pressure network part and on the ribbon choose, "Swap Parts". It will then ask you which parts to swap. Simply select them in the drawing and you can swap them out for a new size.

I am using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2022, unfortunately, Object type "Name" is no longer available. Is there a work around on this?
Name is still available in Civil 3D 2022. Make sure you select your object (the assembly, not a subassembly) first.

Smart people sound so condescending even though that was the intention. I can't even copy, when I do it moved. So small watch on phone, presenter can't even zoom in? At the end, I'm able to label the assembly. So thanks.

I appreciated this video. In my case, the contour data included two adjacent area shapefiles, so the map import and subsequent query method worked well!

In my opinion, this method is much more convenient then swapping each one individually. Разработчики Civil, должны делать продукт для людей, чтобы им было удобно, а не для галочки. Yes, you are right, there are third-party applications that cost money, I use some. Therefore, I am talking about the convenience of which is not enough in the standard Civil. Civil developers, should make the product for people to be convenient, and not for show. Is this still hapenning in the lastest versions? Tested it here on C3D 2019.2 and I've got the same angle for both lines. IMO used to be more like a bug than a "feature". Is it fixed now?
Great tutorial. Thanks. When I do this, however, I seem to lose the scale and the geolocation of the shapefile and other georeferenced layers no longer match up. Any thoughts on why that is or what I may be doing wrong?
